Family Domestic Abuse Practitioner/YPVA

You will be responsible for providing high-quality specialist domestic abuse support to parents and their children or young people. You will work in partnership with colleagues in our IDVA, DAP and Accommodation Teams and work in the community to enhance parenting capacity to rebuild family bonds and to increase family resilience.

Depending on the skills and experience of the post-holder, you may be responsible for supporting young people who are experiencing serious harm from intimate relationships or familial domestic abuse, working in a multi-agency partnership environment. 

This is a great opportunity for individuals who are committed to helping survivors to break the cycle of domestic abuse and support their recovery.

This post is open to female applicants only as being female is deemed to be a genuine occupational qualification under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010

Full time contract, fixed term over 3 years – 37.5 hours per week

£26,821 - £30,011 depending on qualification and experience.
