If you think you are in immediate danger then call 999 for the emergency services
One of our practitioners will take your details and ask you some questions about the domestic abuse you are suffering or have suffered in the past. We will assess the level of risk you are at so that we can offer the appropriate support. We can then give you help and advice, including any help with safety planning. We will offer you an appointment if needed for emotional and further practical support which can be regular and ongoing depending on your circumstances.
We can meet with you at an agreed location in the community near to your home, often coffee shops or libraries, or local drop in centres.
Covering Your Tracks
Online services and social media should be open and safe for everyone to use. We know that perpetrators of domestic abuse often use online tools to abuse their victims.
Below is information about how to keep yourself safe online and cover your tracks.
We work in partnership with Essex Compass who have specialist domestic abuse practitioners available to answer your call, offer you advice and connect you with the support you need. They will be able to talk to you about your situation, give you some initial safety advice and they will then refer you to the best service to support your needs.
