The Role:

The post-holder will be responsible for supporting Independent Domestic Abuse Advisors (IDVA) and Community Domestic Abuse Practitioners (DAP) to achieve the highest standards of support for survivors of domestic abuse and be able to demonstrate these standards through effective monitoring and evaluation of the services delivered across the Essex Integrated Domestic Abuse Services contract and other strategically important projects.

£24,342 - £25,136 depending on experience  37.5 hrs per week

About you

We are looking for an experienced, committed and enthusiastic team member who can support Next Chapter by helping us ensure our services are delivered to the highest standards of support.  You will have excellent knowledge of trauma informed care and the impact of intersectionality, with an excellent understanding of the principles of risk assessment, safety planning and risk management for victims of domestic abuse an their children.  You will also have an excellent understanding of all interpersonal violence.  A friendly, flexible ‘can do’ attitude is essential for this new role, which will also need to work closely within a partnership setting, with the opportunity to shape the role within this partnership environment, using their initiative to identify and, where possible, determine best practice within the sector.
