General Information

On registration we will complete a questionnaire (All About Me) with you including whether your child has any medical conditions, allergies, dietary requirements or special education needs.

We will ask your permission to take photographs of your child for use in the setting and inclusion in their Learning Journals which you take with you when you leave.

We will ask you to provide contact details for someone who you would be happy to take responsibility for your child in the event of an emergency.

We ask that you keep your mobile phone switched on while your child is with us and that you advise us of any change of number promptly. You will be asked to ensure that your mobile phone is put away before you enter the setting.

We ask that you do not bring your child to the setting if they are unwell and for at least 48 hours after any episode of sickness or diarrhoea.

The outdoor area is part of the learning environment. Please ensure that your child has appropriate clothing for the weather and for messy play. Any jewellery, belts etc that may pose a safety risk should be removed by you before session.

Mid- morning snack time is treated as a social occasion. Some examples of snack choices are fruit and vegs, cheese, bread, crackers, crumpets with milk or water to drink. Children can help themselves to drinking water at any time during the session. Information about today’s snack is displayed outside the setting. Food allergen information can be found here:

Where outings in the local community are provided we will seek your separate permission for your child to participate.

CCTV is in use within the setting.
